The Spaces

The manor houses are positioned in the hart of the student-area. In two stylish 19th century houses we designed 8 large apartments. Every apartment has its own look and feel. The apartments have a common dress consisting a timeless pallet of wood, white and black. The styles vary from classic luxury to robust cool lofts. Some are classic with high ornamental ceilings and panelled hearths and others are rough with beams and roof windows.

The spaces measure about 90m2 offering a large living with a sunny feeling because of the western sun shinning through the big windows. The royal kitchens are designed with natural products. In the bathroom we used classic metro tiles, wood, natural stones and design sinks to create a smile on your face.

The Space

In a classic monumental canalhouse build in the beginning of the 17th century we designed a very light classic appartment with modern details. Its very sunny positoned with a lot of big windows. The space consists of 2 very light rooms with high ceilings with the original white glossy beams and 2 classic hearths. The original wooden floors are also dressed in glossy white. It all together creates a dazzling look and feel.

Between the front room and the backroom, both with their own entrance the kitchen and the bathroom is located. The concrete bathroom is comfortable and stylish designed with cool products and sustainable materials.

The Space

At the Bickerseiland we designed a spacy loft apartment in a modern building from architect Paul de Ley. With a 5 meter high ceiling and an entresol where the bedroom is located you feel the artistic spirit the neighbourhood is known for.

The old wooden floor and the concrete walls creates a robust space where working and living is all about creating. The living is filled with modern solistic objects. The windows reach the ceiling with the famous light from the north. In the separate kitchen you find recyclable rvs cupboards and the basic kitchen ingredients.

The bathroom has a real natural stone floor that fits perfect in the setting. You are able to relax in the traditional bath or take a quick shower.
