At the border of the Amsterdam Bay stays The White House. A white wooden building 8 km’s from Amsterdam where silence and nature rules. The White House counts 4 meeting spaces, a big gastronomy kitchen, a guesthouse for 12 persons, surrounded by verandas and terraces.

 

Here you can enjoy a team meeting, workshop, reset or…one of the other  100 options. Good food, diving in the lake, floating on a vlot, silent hiking, mind mapping, painting, challenging sports, fishing…in the stylish building or outside in nature. We create everything you wish or even didn’t knew it exists.

 

The concept is based on the 4 Handles for Happiness to grow on the happiness index and create a joyjoyjoy society.

The White House is a majestic building surrounded by wooden houses. Its has the attitude of a mayor house. Via wooden stairs you reach the entrance on a veranda. From the veranda your overlooking the Waterland lakes.

 

Its made from wood with simple but classic design and totally white. The balanced architecture has the lines from Palladio where the eye is lead along equality forms. Its the story the house is telling to the visitor. As the world needs more equality.

 

Thats why The White House is symbolic for the other White House to reach out to a joyjoyjoy society based on the happiness index. This creates a pure scenery for your stay with ingredients based on the 4 Handles for Happyness that UP-grade your living.

OUTSIDE

 

The design is a mix from scandinavian and old dutch design. The wooden building is traditional build.

 

The building is divided in four wings. Every wing has an event space with a special character. The wings are connected with the nature by big glass doors that can be opened totally so inside is outside. Every door is connected with a terrace so your event can be taken place inside or outside every moment.

 

The building is surrounded buy outside spaces. Your event can take place in many different terraces outside the house. There is a herb garden to pick green for the lunch. A veranda on the front and a veranda at the back to relax in the swinging chair. A patio with an open fire offers place to talk while staring into the flames.

SPOT IN NATURE

 

Surrounded by water The White House is draped at the dike. The setting is arranged between to lakes. Everywhere you look is water. This is for sure Waterland. And if you look around its clear why its wearing this name.

 

On one side you overlook the big lake with the horizon far away. its only water and sky. And that for sure creates the most beautifull paintings with an impact touching the sole.

 

On the other side the look is amazing. Overlooking Waterland with a pure lake with the Amsterdam skyline above it. Impressive and overwhelming.

When you leave Amsterdam over the eastern bridge you are immediately dropped in the countryside with green fields, farms and narrow roads. Its Waterland with little lakes and green fields hided behind the historic dike.

 

From the romantic village Durgerdam this dike leads to a little village with wooden houses. Its 7 kilometers with only nature around you. Kilometer after kilometer Amsterdam gets smaller and the space in your head bigger.

 

Its magic this space is real. To find direct at the border of the most great city in the world a big lake and a green romantic area is impressive every time you’r aware of it.

AT THE BAY OF AMSTERDAM

 

Positioned on the feet of the dike The White House is connected with the water. If it gets you to hot you just jump into the natural water for a cool splash. In front of the house a wooden platform stretched out in the water.

 

Here we can organise your drinks. Overlooking the water you will impress all your guests.

 

The big lake is the blue hart of the country. Boats come and go in all kind of sorts. Big tall ships, little speedy windsurfers, the classic boat from the Royal family, the speed boats with there skiers passing by.

 

We offer a maritiem program to optimise your stay like windsurfing, paddling, skiing and the best of all diving in your bath suit!

EVENT SPACE

 

In The White House your welcome for your event in what form you want. You always meet an attitude thats thinking creative to reach the optimum for you.

 

Everything is based on UP-grading living to grow on the Happiness Index. Based on the model of the 4 Happy Handles for your 4 main terrains in your living. Every aspect is based on UP-grading the relation with: your inner self, your body, your role in your world, the setting with the people around you.

The views are magic at every moment of the day. You see the sea and feel the fresh breeze. The location is dropped between 2 lakes. At one side the Bay of Amsterdam. On the other side you find the landscape of Waterland with another lake. At the end of that lake you see the skyline of Amsterdam.

 

Also in the dark you get surprised by the awesome views. The moon thats rising from the skyline with is glittering path over the water.

 

Nature is so close by and creates an tranquil atmosphere. Its the perfect spot to have inspirational meetings. We create your meeting or event nobody forget. Also we are every day surprised and impressed this location is really the spot where we can move. We love to meet you here to share this ultimate setting.

Your gathering can be done inside in the 4 wings or outside on the porches, the garden, the dike or the jetty.

 

We can organise all kind of workshops like mind-mapping, picking eatable food, catch your own fish, step on a surfboard, float on a vlot.

 

You can do Yoga, silent hiking, zen sessions, resets, sound healing. Or enjoy a sport program, a cooking program, a reset training.

 

We can design your challenging games creating togetherness.  We can host your talks or organise inspirational speakers.

FOOD + DRINKS

 

In the house we offer you the possibility to organise your lunches and dinners. And also the breakfast if you stay over the night. The setting is relaxed and authentic. Pureness is our core focus.

 

The dinners are cooked with local ingredients. Its healthy food with a small footprint. We buy our products at the farmers surrounding us. We pick the herbs from our own herb garden. And use the plants from nature that surrounds us.

 

And of course we stimulate vegetarian or vegan dinners if you prefer. Everything is possible and our cooks will surprise you with there honest food presented beautifull on all kind of stylish plates.

 

To support the model of UP-grading Living we cook healthy and biological. With the best local ingredients we create tabels full of food that fits with this ecololicious way of living.

 

Our cooks make a lovely meal for you in the full equipped horeca kitchen.

 

For every occasion we prepare delicious meals. Served on the dike you will be part of the breath taking views. You heare the waves while sipping your coffee.

Ofcourse good drinks are part of your stay. We offer biological wines from selected wine farms.

 

We work with Dutch wine yard also and offer amazing local wines. We even have our own wine yard in Amsterdam.

 

Part of our strategy is to create UP-grading living in poor countries and so logically we buy fair trade wines from wineries that offer local people a better way of living.

 

Long tabels are served full of love and lovely drinks.

You can enjoy your dinner in the house in one of the wings or outside at the patio, the porch or the dike.

 

There are several open fires to sit next to it. Or after the dinner find a cosy place where you are able st sit next to the fire talking about life and living.

 

If you like to be relaxed you can stay over the night to sleep well after your wines. We offer space for 12 guests. In our stylish bedrooms you sleep in perfect silence under fair cotton sheets.

 

And what to think of the dive in nature water after you wake up. And then sip your coffee at the porch or just on the jetty with your feet in the water.

WORKSHOPS FOR UPGRADING LIVING

 

Workshops based on Happy, Healthy, Honored Human living are offered.

 

Inside workshops are done for your mind, your inner ambitions, the relations you have, and the food you want to be put in your body.

 

Outside there is for the Healthy Handle stand up paddling, windsurfing, cold water diving. Picking food to cook with natural ingredients

For the harmony Handle there is offered yoga, silent hiking, mind fullness.

 

To work on the Hot Handle there are changeling games.

 

Your event can take place in many different terraces outside the house. The patio next to the house is a perfect space to create a bbq. On the open fire we make the most delicious food. Our food products are local sourced.

 

Next tot the 4 wings outside spaces can be used. Sitting on the veranda joining is event is even more magic. Food can be served inside and outside.

The healthy handle is filled in with many activities. We can offer you a sporty program.

Watersport is one of them.

With our rescue boat we can offer you water-skiing. Floating over the water you feel a new experience.

Dive in the water….feel the splash…..

 

From the White House we dive in the water to make a fresh start of the day, or make a cool break in the day. We love to bring you your hot coffee after this refreshment of bring even colder beer or wine 🙂

 

The natural water of the Bay of Amsterdam gives you the ultimate vibe your one with nature. Laying in the water overlooking the waves moving towards Amsterdam and Pampus you feel automatically relieved.

 

We have the original joyjoyjoy living towels ready for you. Of course these are made from natural materials and produced in a honest way.

THE STORY OF THE 4 WIND DIRECTIONS

 

The Story of the White House inspires you to look in  a different way at our world divided by the 4 wind direction, within the frame of South East North West, what made us think some part of the world are rich and some parts are poor. But as rich does not including automatically happiness and the other way around we need to change our perspective to reach the goal that the world gets happy in stead of rich.

 

The white house is divided in 4 wings, South/North/East/West, where the wind directions are changed to turn the world the other way around. Every wing tells a story about the position from the  South, North, East and West in a happy world with a theme, colours and objects.

THE WEST WING

In the West wing the soft breezes blows colouring the water grey blue, giving the warm days some freshness, let the spring spring and the nature grow.

The waterpaint blues and greens are fluently, the Waterland area is felt back in the atmosphere. In this flourishing setting the big kitchen is settled.

Here food grows in the surrounding is prepared to feed the people. The Handle for Healthy Living is part of the setting. Around the big the food can be joined on recycled earthware and fair trade glasses with pure water and honest teas.

THE SOUTH WING

 

The South wing is telling a story with ingredients from the Sun with much gold tones.

Green details referring to the lush character the South potentially has.

What can be done with The South to UP-grade her character to the max.

It’s the space where The Honest Handle is the guide for the interior.

Thinking about your relation wit hthe world.

Levelling about your impact.

Arguing what your ambitions are and how te develop.

Spaces to lay and think, to sit and leven, to work on your script for living.

THE NORTH WING

The North wing is ice white and cool. Soft and serene are the snowy and icy landscapes.

In wintertimes when it gets cold and ice grows on the big lake is one big ice field.

The atmospohere is traceable in this wing with soft and gentle snowy whites and icy sparkle ingredients.

Here the Harmony Handle is integrated in the interior. Its about the relation with your self.

Within a zen setting in a blanco world thinking about your self. And working about the interaction with your inner. The space brings you to quietness….make you meditative.

The views over the immense lake creates piece in your mind. Soft carpets to lay down and realx are on the floor. Soft cusions to put on your head make you feel with your self. A big empty table full of empty papers invite you to write down whats in your head.

 

THE EAST WING

 

The East wing is designed within the mood of the east winds when the sky is clear and the waves role against the dike. The story in the department show the silver ingredeints of the waves and the sky. The blue tones of the water are visibel everywhere. The elements of nature are connected to each other. The light, the sun, the sky, the water, the land are separate and also one.

 

It’s one of the basics for the handle for Living where it’s also about the relation with the people around you. With this concept the East offers big couches and long tables to sit relaxed and talk about  your inspiration and listen to inspiration from other. A wood fire is in the middle to sit around and talk for hours. With the view on the the big lake the inspiration for the talks will automatically pop up.

ECOLICIOUS DESIGN

 

As we design to create UP-grading your Living its without any doubt that the design in The White House is as susty as we can do.

 

Fair trade products are an important part as with equal trade its possible to create UP-grading for every body in the chain. With buying products in developing countries we contribute to a normal living in poor areas so there is food to feed and money to learn. Children will have more changes and the possibility to grow out of poverty.

 

To keep the world healthy its important to use eco products that harm our globe as less as possible. Re-use is the most upgrading way to live. If we dont buy new products but use the ones we have produced al ready the impact is zero. So we are really fan of vintage and timeless design. Recycling is an important ingredient. The big horeca kitchen has a separate milieu-station.

PRICES

 

If you like to stay at the White House for your meeting its 400 euro per depart

 

When we create a fabulous lunch its 20 euro per person.

If you joy a great dinner  its per person 50 euro incl wines.

 

If you want to sleep after the dinner it’s 50 euro per person.

And if you want to have breakfast after your joy night it’s 15 euro per person.

 

For workshops, inspirational talks, outside activities we make an offer for you.

 

PRACTICAL

 

The ideal setting is to create events with max 12 persons. The whole setting is based on this amount of people. Even the beds.

 

From Amsterdam its 20 minutes drive through the romantic scenery of the countryside of North.

 

You can host your own event of we can host. We can organise outside workshops within nature or in the water. Windsurfing, Suppen, Hiking, Flotten of gathering food in nature. Or inside workshops with speakers, coaches and yoga session on the veranda or on the water.
