The Space
The Solo Solo Houses are positioned in the hart of the student-area. In two stylish 19th century houses we designed stylish spaces for Solos.
The apartments have a common dress consisting a timeless pallet of wood, white and black. The styles vary from classic luxury to robust cool lofts. Some are classic with high ornamental ceilings and panelled hearths and others are rough with beams and roof windows.
The floors measure about 90m2 offering a large living with a sunny feeling because of the western sun shinning through the big windows.
The royal kitchens are designed with natural products and offer you a good equipment to cook for all your friends dropping by.
In the bathroom you find all the things you need to take a comfortable bath in a stylish environment. We used classic metro tiles, wood, natural stones and design sinks to create a smile on your face. The bathrooms offer you enough space to make some dance passes.
About furniture and lightning is thought carefully and its all designed to make you stay in an environment that’s created based on sustainable and comfortable living in an stylish environment.
In the bedrooms you find a comfortable 2-persons bed and all the equipment you expect. It offers a corner to relax and work on your mind and a corner t sport and work on your body.
In the Living room is a corner to work on your rations with a long tabel to talk for hours.
The Spot
The Solo Solo Houses are situated between the University of Amsterdam and the High School of Amsterdam. The street in front of it is called the Knowledge Mile. Students are moving all around visiting the bars and the terraces in this area.
Recently the main street in front of the manor houses is developed as a hip habitat and all kind of facilities are arising in the neighbourhood. Eco restaurants, off grid bars, rough clubs and great terraces are popping up every month.
The big street is changing into a buzzling boulevard lively 24/7. You find her the hot spots like Club Canvas with the amazing terrace on the high roof. The Pool on the other side of the street is a club where you can dance away the night. At the Student hotel you can have an affordable dinner in a raw stylish environment. Kriterion is a student cinema offering you great interesting movies in an international environment.
The charming centre with the canals and the river Amstel is on the other side of the street. Here you find the great shopping street the Utrechtsestraat where all kind of specialistic shops are gathered where you can buy the finest cheese, vegetables, pastries, bread, meat and fish.
The Solo Solo Houses are also located next to the east area of Amsterdam where you find the romantic Oosterpark where a new hip wind is blowing. Around the Oosterpark all kind of new initiatives arising. Restaurants with a terrace in the park offer charming dinners. At the Linneausstraat lots of restaurants are popping up with gardens where you can eat between the young urban hipsters. The Javastreet shows new stores every week full of original products often eco and sustainable.
